Photos from my Trip

We just got back from our trip to Branson Missouri. Shopping, shopping and more shopping. The weather was perfect and the scenery, soooo beautiful. We got lucky to have stayed in my DH's nephew condo. So fabulous! downstair's the outdoor mall they call it. Everything is within reach.
It was awesome trip. I thought i would share y'all some photos.

My sentiments

Ok, hear this. No layouts in almost a year. All i did this year is buy and buy stuff. But i did a couple of cards though. That's it. I'm busy loosing wait which is ,by the difficult for me since i'm breast feeding. I'm always hungry all the time. It is soo ridiculous (that's what my daughter would say). Anyway, I joined Weight Watchers and it does not seem to work for me. But i still have 8 weeks to loose before pigging out for the upcoming holiday. Why is it that American food is sooo delicious or should i say fattening? Just for example, i cooked rice. My mother in-law would sneak and put butter and salt in it. My first year here in the US, i gained almost 15 lbs. And when i was pregnant, i also gained a ton. The fattest that I've ever been. Looking at myself in the mirror is so frustrating. So I've decided to do something about it. I joined CURVES. This months contest is finding a princess within you. You have to loose 10 lbs in 10 weeks. Every week you have tasks to do. You have to drink eight 8ounces of water everyday, exercise 3x a week and loose two lbs. That sounds so easy but let's see if can do it. This Saturday is the 1st weighing of the contestants. By the way my starting weight is 143 lbs. My target weight is 117lbs. I have to loose 26 lbs. Wish me luck y'all.

I can't believe it's September

Labor day weekend, one of those lazy days, hanging out with the family We actually went to my in -laws and fried two turkeys. Who in the world would cook turkey in this time of year? It's my DH request actually. So i went to the GS to buy a bird and they didn't have it. I looked and looked and looked and finally found some at the Harvest food. (So to those who are craving for some turkey you now know where to find it). It's kinda like a pre-thanksgiving dinner. It was good though.Man, i cant' believe it's September already. So, where did those months go? Time travel so fast. Christmas is just around the corner. You know what that means, shopping, shopping and some more shopping. I've not been able to do any scrapping this past couple of months due to flu called LAZYNESS. But I promise myself that I will start making LOs as soon as I'm done organizing my supplies. Hope you had a good weekend. Toodles!

soooooooooooooooo happy

Soooooooo happy. I got my Cricut Expression today. I could almost cry. My husband, i know deep inside is not so happy with my expenditures . But what can I do? These things make me happy. Although, i can't do much of scrapping ( since my things are in the storage) but i'm in the process of building my little nook for my scrapsbooking stuff. I got my inspiration from Valerie Salmon's scrap studio , very well organized i may say.
I hope i could finish my project in due time so i could post my LOs.
So looking forward to it.

Back to my old habit!

It's almost six months now since i put scrapbooking in a halt. It's sooo not me. We were thinking of moving to another house so my husband (not me) had decided to rent a small storage and put all of my scrapbooking tools, papers albums (my everything)in there. The only thing that i managed to hide from him was my cricut machine. So when i joined the pinoyscrapbookers group, i became excited again. Seeing the impressive work of the group, talented people, i may say. I immediately went to Hobby Lobby to purchase albums, papers, stickers and etc. I was so lucky that all of my purchases were half off. The next day, i went to another scrapbooking store and found this making memories embellishment center. It was a little bit expensive, ( i mean just for little storage ) so my husband won't buy it for me. So a girl gotta to do what a girl gotta do, right? I'm soooo back to my old habit. As the old saying goes: you can take the girl out of the trailer but you can't take the trailer out of the girl.
